Scolton Manor
Sunday 8th June 2009
Paul Taylor represented the club at this event. Although it was raining when leaving Ammanford, the weather improved before arrival at Scolton. There was something of interest for all.
The Pembroke Classic Car Club sponsored the event and it was interesting to see the variety of "classics" in their club.
Other vehicles ranged from a customised Lambretta Li 125 to a Bentley Continental, and from several stationery engines to a "Green Goddess" fire engine.
Music was played throughout the day and reflected the "period" feel.
On the whole a very enjoyable day, apart from one short downpour, when the restaurant was the place to be!
Scolton Manor is well worth a visit.
